Result 2025: Trench Group Continues on Growth Course, Revenue Up more than 30 Percent

Strong market momentum is being driven by the global expansion of power grids.
In 2025, record order intake surpassed €1.4 billion, up from €1.04 billion in 2024, resulting in an order backlog of €1.6 billion. Revenue grew by more than 30 percent for the second consecutive year, reaching €906.5 million compared with €683.6 million in 2024, while the adjusted EBITDA margin increased by 5 percentage points.
At the same time, the Group is pursuing major capacity expansions worldwide and strategically developing high-growth market segments.

Strong 2025 Performance Confirms Growth Strategy

Trench Group GmbH, a leading global provider of high-voltage power transmission components and systems, continued its strong upward trajectory in fiscal year 2025. Revenue rose 33 percent to €906.5 million (2024: €683.6 million), marking the second consecutive year of growth above 30 percent. The adjusted EBITDA margin increased by 5 percentage points. The company achieved a record order intake of more than €1.4 billion – an increase of nearly 40 percent from the prior year (2024: €1.04 billion) – driving the order backlog to a new high of €1.6 billion.

Building on our strong performance last year, 2025 marked another exceptional year for Trench Group. The global energy transition and the rapid expansion of data center infrastructure fueled a significant increase in demand. This performance clearly validates our global growth strategy focused on system-critical high-voltage components essential for power grid expansion worldwide. As electrification accelerates across daily life and major industries - and as data centers and renewable energy continue their rapid growth - the need for grid modernization and expansion is intensifying. This is driving our global production footprint to grow at unprecedented speed.

Global Capacity Expansion in High-Growth Markets

To meet sustained high demand for high-voltage components, Trench Group has begun a substantial expansion of its production capacities worldwide. All factories are undergoing significant growth, with Trench Austria launching a major investment program to double its production capacity.

Strengthening its presence in key markets, Trench Group will open a new U.S. manufacturing facility in early 2026 dedicated to the production of its most innovative dry-type transformer bushings. This expansion operates under HSP USA LLC and supports the rapid growth of the North American energy market. The company has also signed multiple long-term supply agreements with major transformer manufacturers and key Hyperscalers in North America, reaffirming its role as a key player in the expansion and modernization of the U.S. high-voltage grid.

Since April 2024, Trench Group has added approximately 600 employees and plans to hire an additional 1,000 by 2030. The company currently employs around 2,900 people across nine production sites in seven countries. The new U.S. facility will become its tenth production location in its eighth country.

To further strengthen its presence in high-growth markets, Trench Group established a new subsidiary in Australia in 2025, securing direct access to one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for high-voltage technology.
