Eco-sustainable and proven design
Environmental
The use of ester as an insulator reduces the risk of environmental damage. The fluid is biodegradable according to OECD 301, improving the environmental balance throughout the product life cycle.
Proven design
Trench's Eco Fluid Current Transformers are based on a globally established insulation medium technology with many years of proven performance.
Improved operational safety
The higher flashpoint of the ester increases the fire safety of the CT.
High Voltage Insulation
High-quality paper and an ester liquid are used to create high-voltage insulation, with fine-graded bushings optimizing the electrical field inside and outside the product.
Hermetically sealed
In all operating conditions, a stainless-steel base bellow allows the liquid volume to change and the internal pressure to remain the same as the ambient pressure.
