Design

The explosion-proof construction is based on the combination of a compressible insulating medium and a rupture disc which is considered for current transformers in GIS switchgear design.

Mechanical characteristics

Variable due to freely selectable installation position and an excellent seismic behavior – depending on the GIS structure.

Short circuit

Short symmetrically arranged primary conductors with a low reactance enable higher short-circuit currents and prevent a large voltage drop across the primary winding.

Accuracy

Evenly distributed secondary cores ensure precise at both: rated and high currents.
