CONVENTIONAL FLUID COMBINED TRANSFORMER

145 kV / 5000 A

Combined Transformers utilizing Conventional fluid insulation provide accurate and reliable current and voltage transformations (measurements), with the proven Trench design and highest reliability.

GENERAL

  • Oil-impregnated paper insulation has been improved based on many years of experience with the prestigious Haefely-Trench original design.
  • The modular design allows the use of a reduced number of components.
  • An optimised drying and oil-soaking process simplifies the use of special oils to meet specific customer requirements. (Applications with low ambient temperatures or other special oil requirements for a variety of reasons)

CHARACTERISTICS

  • For Voltage levels up to 145 kV
  • Primary current up to 5000 A
  • Fully type tested according to International Standards

MAIN FEATURES

Safe, reliable & proven for 50 years

Proven Design

Trench's Oil Combined Transformers are easy to adapt to meet all the specific requirements of the customer and can also be installed without the need for special tools.

High Voltage insulation

Superior control of internal and external insulation stress due to the use of a proprietary system of finely graded bushings.

Seismic

Excellent seismic performance as a consequence of the optimized design of flanges, porcelain and their interconnection.

Hermetically sealed

In all operating conditions, a stainless steel base bellow allows the liquid volume to change and the internal pressure to remain the same as the ambient pressure

Modular design

Modular design eliminates the need for a wide range of components.
