Design

The explosion proof design of the Trench gas insulated instrument transformers is based on the use of compressible gas as insulation medium and the built-in rupture disc.

Seismic

Excellent seismic performance as a consequence of the optimized design of flanges, composite insulators and their interconnection.

High Current

The bar-type primary conductor is designed for high service short-circuit current and prevents high voltage drops in the primary winding

High Voltage insulation

Superior control of internal and external insulation stress due to the use of a proprietary system of finely graded bushings.

Maintenance

Maintenance-free and therefore cost- and time-saving over a service life of more than 30 years.
