CHARACTERISTICS

  • For applications outdoors (fluid-to-air)
  • Composite insulator with FG tube and silicone sheds
  • Fine-graded condenser cores
  • Fully type-tested according to applicable International Standards IEEE or IEC

GENERAL

  • RIS bushing cores are manufactured using a non-woven plastic web fabric and thin aluminum foil electrodes
  • All cores are condenser-type finely graded rolled in special winding machines and resin-impregnated under vacuum.
  • Optimized bushing designs for size and material usage
  • Condenser cores are fully dried and vacuum-impregnated using optimized processes ensuring a low CO2 footprint
  • Modular bushing designs allow the use of a reduced number of components and enable fully customizable dimensions
