Long-term framework agreements signed with three of China’s largest transformer manufacturers – Supporting the country’s massive grid expansion

Trench Group GmbH has signed long-term supply agreements with three of China’s leading transformer manufacturers – TBEA, TWBB, and SPECO. These strategic partnerships, which extend into the next decade, underscore Trench Group’s technological leadership in the field of high-voltage bushings.

China is currently undertaking one of the most ambitious power grid expansion initiatives in the world. As part of its national energy transition, the country aims to efficiently transmit large volumes of renewable energy – particularly from wind and solar farms in remote regions – to urban and industrial centers. This effort requires the rapid deployment of ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transmission lines and modern substations. High-performance, reliable components such as Trench’s high-voltage bushings are essential to realizing these infrastructure goals.
