Wall bushings are designed to lead the electrical current through walls. These bushings are available from 24 kV to 245 kV in the most common current ratings. The external insulation is available in porcelain as well as composite.
Trench wall bushings are compatible with the requirements of IEC and ANSI standards for the following applications:

Main Features
Trench and HSP resin impregnated paper wall bushings are available up to a voltage level of 800 kV and ratings of up to 5000 A.

Type EAA
Trench EAA bushings are compatible with the requirements of IEC and ANSI standards. These bushings are available from 72.5kV to 245kV in the most common ratings.
Design:
- Epoxy resin impregnated paper insulation. Vacuum impregnation of the condenser core gives excellent partial discharge performance
- Oil free solid insulation provides no fire or explosion risk with the bushing
- Design allows for differential expansion across normal operating temperature range
- Connecting flange incorporates a self grounding test tapping for through life capacitance and tan delta measurement
- Non-standard CT accommodation can be provided on request
Type CPW
Trench CPW bushings are compatible with the requirements of IEC 60137. These bushings are available from 24 kV to 123 kV in the most common ratings.
Design:
- Bakelised paper insulation
- The service position of this type of wall bushing can be vertical or horizontal.
Type EW/SEW
Resin-impregnated paper bushings. The air side housing is made of either porcelain (EW) or silicone composite insulators (SEW) – on both sides or one side. When required, an active part without a housing is available for indoor operation. The bushings are designed for rated voltages of 52 to 800 kV and rated currents up to 4000 A.

Type CW, CWA
Trench CW, CWA bushings are available from 24 kV to 123 kV with extended indoor creepage distance.
Type CPWP
Trench CPWP bushings are compatible with the requirements of IEC 60137. These bushings are available from 24 kV to 123 kV in the most common ratings up to 2500 A
